Hitesh Verma is a Senior Project Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim, where he leads the external development and manufacturing of peptide-based new chemical entities (NCEs), working across analytical development, quality, and R&D teams to ensure successful transfer into operations. With extensive expertise in peptide drug substance development, CDMO management, and cross-functional project leadership, he plays a key role in aligning quality, timelines, cost, and performance across complex development programs.
Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Hitesh held peptide R&D roles at Aurobindo Pharma and Alembic Pharmaceuticals, specializing in peptide process development and advanced analytical characterization. He holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and completed postdoctoral research at EPFL Lausanne, focusing on innovative peptide-based macrocycle therapeutics.
